A military cargo plane crashed in Sudan, killing all crew members.

A military cargo plane crashed on Tuesday while attempting to land at an airbase in eastern Sudan, killing all crew members, AFP reported, citing two military sources in the country. A military source, who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media, said a technical malfunction caused the Ilyushin Il-76 aircraft to crash as it attempted to land at the Digna airbase in Port Sudan. Another military source confirmed the deaths of all crew members aboard the Ilyushin Il-76. The Sudanese military has not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident, and the number of people on board at the time of the crash has not been disclosed.
