Sudan: More than 107,000 displaced from El Fasher

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) reported that more than 107,000 people have been displaced from El Fasher and surrounding villages in North Darfur State, western Sudan, following the Rapid Support Forces' takeover of the city. In a statement released Sunday, the IOM explained that approximately 107,294 people were forced to flee El Fasher and its environs due to escalating insecurity between October 26 and December 8.
