The army announces it has regained control of vast areas in Kordofan and Darfur.

The Sudanese army announced that its air and ground forces carried out intensive bombing operations targeting Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia positions in the Darfur and Kordofan regions, as well as their movement routes towards southern Libya. According to an army statement summarizing operations over the past week, the RSF, led by Dagalo, suffered heavy losses, including the destruction of more than 240 combat vehicles and the deaths of hundreds of its members. A number of strategic drones were also targeted and destroyed, along with storage facilities and operational centers at Nyala Airport. The statement explained that ground forces managed to regain control of large areas in Kordofan and Darfur, expelling the rebel militias. The army affirmed that its operations are continuing in cooperation with supporting forces, with the aim of eliminating the remnants of the terrorist militia and ending its presence in all the areas it occupies.
