In the latest developments on the ground in Sudan, the General Command of the Armed Forces announced on Wednesday the success of a qualitative military operation on the South Kordofan front. According to the statement, the Armed Forces, with the support of their allies, dealt a heavy blow to the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia by targeting their positions in the Al-Kuweik area following what were described as decisive battles. The official statement indicated that the operation resulted in significant losses for the militia, with dozens of its members killed and wounded, in addition to the destruction of a large number of combat vehicles that constituted part of its striking force. The Armed Forces affirmed their determination to continue carrying out their national duties with resolve and determination, emphasizing their commitment to liberating every inch of Sudanese territory from the grip of terrorist militias and restoring security and stability throughout the country.
