The Sudanese joint force announcement
⭕The Joint Force of Armed Struggle Movements⭕ Press Release The Joint Force of Armed Struggle Movements announces that during ongoing operations in Kordofan, our forces captured a group of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) fighters. The detainees have given initial confessions revealing that they were transported from Nyala to the Kufra region of Libya, where they underwent intensive military training programs supervised by mercenaries before being sent back to fight inside Sudan. According to the information and confessions gathered, these groups were equipped with combat vehicles, weapons, and advanced field equipment inside Libyan territory before being deployed to various front lines. This confirms the involvement of some neighboring countries in providing direct support to the rebel militia. The Joint Force notes that the transfer of fighters across the border, and their training and arming within Libyan territory, constitutes a direct violation of UN Security Council resolutions on Darfur, particularly Resolutions 1556 (2004) and 1591 (2005), as well as the recent extension in Resolution 2750 (2024), which prohibit any transfer or supply of weapons or the provision of military support to armed groups in the region. Accordingly, the Joint Force calls upon the Security Council and relevant bodies to fulfill their responsibilities and investigate this illicit external support, and to take the necessary measures against those who continue to violate UN resolutions and undermine security and stability in Sudan. The Joint Force affirms that it is continuing to document evidence related to the movement of fighters across the border and submit it to the relevant authorities in accordance with the law, thereby contributing to revealing the facts to the public and strengthening the course of justice. The Joint Force reiterates its commitment to protecting the country from any external interference and preserving its sovereignty, while continuing its field operations with full discipline and in accordance with its national duty.
